Q. How does the photo booth work?

A. Walk in, touch the screen and pose. You can choose one to six (depending on chosen format) photos to be taken. They will be taken 5 seconds apart. Exit the photo booth and retrieve your photos or stay and take more.

Q. Are delivery, setup, and breakdown services included in the price?

Yes there are no additional expenses for rentals within our standard 60 mile radius. Photo booth rentals outside this area may incur a small delivery fee based on mileage above 60 miles and not in excess of 90 miles. This fee will be known at the time of contracting It's A Photo Booth, LLC. Our current mileage rate $1.00 per mile calculated one way. There are NO hidden costs that will be presented to you on the day of your event.

Q. What are the physical and electrical requirements for the photo booth?

A. The photo booth requires an area of at least 8' deep x 6' wide x 6' high. The photo booth requires one 120 VAC, 10A, 3 prong power outlet.

Q. Can you print a logo, monogram, graphic or text message on our photos?

A. Yes we can. We can use your existing logo, a selected graphic, provided text or we can design you a one for a one time fee of $29.

Q. What are personalized templates?

A. Unlike most other photo booth service providers our software is proprietary and has a template engine built into it. What this allows us to do is to create a personalized look to your prints. We can take the colors and theme of your event and incorporate them into a design that will fit your event. These are really nice touch that adds a lot to the prints, who wants plain white borders?

Q. How many photos appear on each print?

A. Our proprietary software allows for us to accommodate 1 to 6 photos, it is your choice.

Q. How many photos can I expect from my rental?

A. This depends on how camera shy your guests are (which we find most all of them are not). Typically photo counts for a 4 hour rental range between 400 and 600.

Q. What is the custom produced DVD?

A. With every package you will receive a custom produce DVD with a selection of up to 200 photos from your session put to music. This is not a typical slideshow but an actual production with exciting transitions and photo effects. You will not find a similar offering with other competitors. Q. How long before I receive my custom DVD?

A. DVD production typically takes 3-5 business days to be mailed. Under most circumstances you will receive your custom produced DVD within 1 week of your event.

Q. Do I have to pay tax on my photo booth rental?

A. In the state of Ohio all photographic services are taxable at your county rate. You can find your rate at the Ohio Department of Taxation's website or click here (opens in a new window).

Q. Do you have any suggestions on how to make sure we and our guests take full advantage of the photo booth?

A. Based on the event, we would suggest you let your guests know where the photo booth is located and that it is available to them at no cost.

Easy and creative ways to do this are:

  • Provide a note at each place setting
  • Have us provide an external monitor to display the shenanigans occurring in the booth (this always draws a crowd)
  • MC or DJ announcements

Q. How long does it take for photos to be available online?

A. Photos are typically available within 72 hours of your event. If there is a wifi or LAN network available we can upload photos real-time. This is great for guest who were unable to attend to see whats going on in your booth.

Q. What is needed to reserve a photo booth?

A. A signed contract and a 50% transferable deposit. Balance is due 21 days in advance of the event's date.

Q. Is my deposit refundable?

A. Any request for a date change must be made in writing at least 21 days in advance of the original event date. Change is subject to photo booth availability and receipt of a new Service Contract. If there is no availability for the alternate date, the deposit will be refunded minus a $250 cancellation fee.

Any requests to change dates within 21 days of the original event date will incur a $ 250 service charge if the new date can be accommodated. If the new date cannot be accommodated no refund will be issued. Any Date Change request that cannot be met by It's A Photo Booth, LLC due to availability will be treated as a cancellation.

Any cancellation occurring less than 21 days prior to the event date shall forfeit all payments received. Cancellations made prior to 21 days will be fully refunded minus a $250 cancellation fee.

Q. What if the event must be cancelled due to weather?

A. Rescheduling fees will be waived for any rescheduled events due to weather. What constitutes a weather delay is at the sole discretion of It's A Photo Booth, LLC. If the new event is not available the client will be issued a full refund for services not rendered, barring that It's A Photo Booth, LLC has verified the weather delay. If an event is cancelled completely due to weather the client will fall under normal penalties expressed in this written contract. However, It's A Photo Booth, LLC will issue a full credit to be used within one year of the original scheduled date. The credit amount can only be used toward our services. The Client will be responsible for paying any extra fees if the new rate is higher in cost than the original event.
